They forgot to tell me!
So I’m going to be sure to tell you!!!
I am one of those humans that LOVES change. I love growth. I’ve always been able to respond and shift gears pretty easily. But nothing prepared me for what is happening after the beautiful transformation I experienced in these past 4 years.
I told people as I created my life after my divorce that I felt like every cell in my body was new. I felt like an entirely new person. It felt new but it also felt like coming home. Wild experience and wouldn’t exchange it for anything in the world. Truly.
I had a VERY full calendar in 2025, full of powerful coaching certification calls, client calls, mastermind group calls and some great networking and podcast interviews. I loved it! It was vibrant and really a year that I’m super proud of and thankful for.
I noticed as I rolled into 2026, I found myself relieved that many of programs I had been in were closing and shifting into something else. And I wasn’t looking to fill this time. In some ways, I kept asking, is it ok for me to have a lighter schedule? Turns out I am the CEO of my own business and life and my answer was hell yes!
My heart and soul are craving stillness and catching up with the life and changes I have made. I often would explain this to clients when they were in big growth. It’s like being hit by a wave and needed some time to recover and enjoy the still waters. My mind can go fast and do more, my heart and soul are saying, “hold on a minute!
And it turns out, ‘they’ did tell me and I’m starting to understand how important ‘taking it all in’ is. My personal coach, Sarah Trapkus, has always reminded me to take time to integrate after new and vibrant experiences. I think I’m beginning to more deeply understand what I need as a human that loves change and no longer wants to push through or move quickly to the next thing. It feels soft and powerful.
There’s something important here, I don’t want to miss it.
What has your life been asking of you?
Are you in a season of reminding yourself to take little pauses?
Are you being asked to create more space in your calendar, just for you?
Are you being asked to take a bigger step back so you don’t miss a new next for your life?
One issue that I have helped clients to solve for in their business growth was to always take time for white space. To not let the business they created take away their time for vision and creativity. Well, dang, turns out I need to listen to my own advice as well.
This is what I know, when you honor that still, quiet voice that is asking you to pause or slow down, it’s HIGHLY VALUABLE INFORMATION that wants to come through. Letting our hearts and minds catch up is always for our benefit.
But how? When you get quiet, what is your heart craving?
More solo walks
More time on the mat
More white space time with your planning journal
Meditation
Days out of the office
Beautiful conversations with dear friends
Working in a new location
Just hanging out with your sweet cat or dog
Protecting your calendar in a new way.
EVERY TIME we honor these prompts by our own intuition or subconscious, it pays off
What do you need right now to integrate what is happening in your life?
xoxo,
Diana
