Lean in……

I thought the Covid economy was tough, well this war, high price, pre mid terms economy is NO JOKE! Am I right? Now more than ever, I am seeing consultants, advisors and entrepreneurs & business owners investigate ways they can pivot to not only honor what’s happening in their client base, but what is happening in their personal lives as well.

I want to be a huge encouragement today with an offer to dig in and work on your version of pivot. Cause frankly, it is easy to get frozen. You can get that encouragement from this blog but also I have a workshop that I’m hosting that you’re invited to. See the deets in the ps...

What would Leaning in look like right now, for you?

My definition of leaning might be a bit different. Maybe it’s easier to understand what I don’t mean. Leaning in ISN’T pushing through. ISN’T ignoring your well-being.

In fact LEANING in as you pivot and change course is all about doing things YOUR WAY and perhaps in a NEW WAY that you haven’t even figured out yet.

Start here: {Do you like to do things in real time? Check out the ps}

Dream and Scheme without any Restrictions: Start with honoring you and the work you want to bring to the world. Being honest about your capacity but also honest about what you’re dreaming and scheming. How does that feel? Own it! {and write it down somewhere–just for you}

What’s in the way? Be brutally honest about every thought and story that comes up when you think about what’s next. Oh and bring it all to the table……with curiosity. No judgment allowed. This is a time when you can be onto your protective brain and honor the warning and say…..I’m moving forward but thank you for protecting me.

What’s really important right now? This is the piece that honors your capacity, your values and brings a more vibrant and realistic view and energy to the conversation. This space gives you a chance to honor personal issues, a real need for revenue growth and other time constraints on your plate.

LFG: Chomping at the bit yet? Yes take action but when you take guided, informed and inspired action by leaning into these journal prompts, your Go Time won’t rob you of your well being and what’s important. Remember our culture taught us that giving everything up: time with family, our sleep and calm would create success. It’s not true.

Next Steps: Decide 2 or 3 next steps that came out of this conversation. If you’re really doing something new, remember that actions in our lives work like compounding interest. Keep moving in your momentum and see what happens when you look up in 30 days.

If you knew everything was going to work out beautifully, what would you be up to?

Evaluate: Every week look at a quick review What Worked, What Didn’t and What get’s tweaked. AND I suggest every 30 days looking at what the results you’re creating.

Can you tell I love a good process? I also love real questions in real time so if you’d like more join me in my next Pivot Workshop in October. If you need support now, just send me an email.

Lean in, you’ll be glad you did,

xoxo,

Diana
