In this busy, intense world we live in, we are adding insult to injury in believing that self-care is too hard. The truth is, inspired and grounded wellness, does take a little bit of time. But another beautiful truth is this: we do NOT have to take care of our bodies perfectly and make an overhaul in our lives to see amazing and LASTING results. If you haven’t noticed so far, your body has quite an amazing way of bouncing back when we begin paying a bit of attention to it.
Want to start getting out of your own way? And what if it was….. easy?
Try This: Choose one small step that you really would like to do, even the one that you’re getting resistance to. The one that you sense might really be a great first step. The one that is getting your attention. The one that rings in your mind, if I just ______________, I would feel _______________(i.e. better, stronger, more confident, healthier, more energetic).
Here are some ideas:
- Walk 15-20 minutes
- Buy fresh groceries once a week
- Make a shift in One meal of the day
- Drink more water
- Eat something green
- Eat fruit
- Lift some weights
- Do a plank and some sit ups
- Get up earlier to plan your day
- Go to bed at a set time
Pick one small thing that you want to add to your life or want to make a shift in.
DO IT FOR 4 Days. Just 4, a small step, just 4 days out of the week. Put it on your calendar and go!!!
