Do you take time off?
Seriously look at the hours that you’re working each week?
Do you love it?
Really? Do you love the amount of hours you’re working?
When I started my business, I created my work schedule from the belief that I need to give it my all to be successful. BUT what was really my belief is that more hours equalled more clients/money.
It’s a lie that more work = more productivity/$$$ and I came up against that reality I realized something. I was also feeling guilty for all of the hours I worked. I was not believing in myself. Feeling guilt about your business and working yourself to the bone is not an inspirational business plan. Trust me.
Shifting into a solid trust in myself, in my work, in my routine…….THAT created what is frankly, the business I intended on creating 6 years ago. I don’t regret any minute spent overworking. I now know better so I live better.
What does it look like.? Radical days off when I want to. Stopping at 2 pm because there’s nothing more there. Skipping a planned networking meeting because I’m zoomed out. Taking vacations and more time off when needed to live this amazing life. Flex Fridays that are mostly off days unless I feel like working.
What if the ideal work schedule that you’re dreaming of having one day, is actually THE WAY you’re going to create the growth you crave?
Do I need to repeat that?
When we take radical care of ourselves, take radical ‘out of the blue’ days off, radical trips (it’s coming) when we want to………we put ourselves in a position of trusting ourselves and the business we have created.
