Self care is hard because we simply forget.

So what I’m going to do today with you is help you and I to remember.

I arrived in the mountains yesterday…..it’s been too long. Oh I forgot…..

I forgot how refreshing it is to experience wide open views, be in a new environment and spend some time enjoying what we call ‘cabin time’.

I forgot that drinking alcohol disappoints when I want to feel better.  

I forgot that a child’s pose in the morning was essential for me.

I forgot that my body loves cleaner food, less flour, and more fresh.

I forgot that writing in the early morning FIRST works for me & my business.

It can be so simple to REMEMBER, what is getting your attention?

Our mind wants to start another program, try a bunch of new things, when all we really need to do is REMEMBER.

Remember what works, stop right now and write down 3 self care rituals, habits or routines that serve you well.  Remind your brain that you decided these items are important.  Write them down if you have to, journal about them, put them on your calendar.  

Do whatever it takes to bring your mind back to what is important, what supports you to do all the amazing things you do in the world.

Brilliant self care is the fuel we forget most often, just remember and get back to it!!
