As you might imagine, as a weight loss coach, I talk about nourishment quite a bit. But it?s not what you might think. I definitely discuss how certain foods nourish our bodies, but most of the time when working with clients we discuss the nourishment in our lives.
How are we truly taking care of ourselves in life? Are we taking the Fast Food Approach filling up with either Empty Diet Food or food from a local chain? Or are we rockin? it by nourishing ourselves with fresh lean protein, colorful fruits and veggies, hearty grains, etc.
Do you see that how we feed ourselves is a reflection of how we are taking care of ourselves in life?
Are we slowing down enough to really savor and enjoy our life? Or are we always in the fast lane?
Do we take time to add some color and excitement to our lives by doing something new, taking a risk?
Do we avoid the fiber of life by avoiding, procrastinating something that is really important to us?
Are we taking enough time to enjoy fresh air & fresh ideas just as often as we do fresh food?
It?s so fascinating how these go hand in hand?
